Dynamix in the Studio

Working with Appalachian Wireless

Ever heard of Appalachian Wireless?  You might want to check them out if you haven't, because they could eventually be your primary cell phone service provider.  They're already Eastern Kentucky's leader in telecommunication services and also serve parts of Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee - and they aren't stopping there.  To help expand Appalachian Wireless's services into this already highly competitive field, Dynamix Productions and Post Time Productions have been working closely with them to produce several television ads, infomercials, and specials.  In order to compete with the national powerhouses of the cell phone industry, these spots must look and sound big.  Our two companies have been focused on this mission for the last two years, with Dynamix providing sound and Post Time producing the creative and visuals.  As a result, Appalachian Wireless recently won the RCA 2011 Excellence in Marketing Award. Check out this linkAll of this proves that your company doesn't have to be big to get that big time soundtrack.

Dynamix Tech Notes

One of the challenges of producing the Appalachian Wireless spot was to put the actor in different environments.  For instance, when the man walks into the diner, the background changes to New York City.  With music going on at the same time, adding background sound effects usually results in cacophony.  Here, we decided to put in a simple horn honk.  When the man comes in from the beach, simple sea gulls set the scene.  All of this was feathered in with the dialog and music.  Our experience in post-production sound can help turn your production into a stunning visual experience.  That is, we don't let the sound get in the way or pull the viewer's attention away from what's important.  See our website for more examples of our post production projects.
