NewsNeil Kesterson of Dynamix Productions recently recorded audio dialogue replacement (ADR) for MGM’s upcoming movie Beauty Shop. Stand-up comedienne and actress Adele Givens, who plays a DJ in the film, stopped by the Dynamix studios for her ADR session. Beauty Shop stars Queen Latifa, Alicia Silverstone, Andie MacDowell, Alfre Woodard, and Kevin Bacon. The movie is expected to be released in the fall of 2005. Read the press release here. "What Is Kentucky Basketball?", produced by Kip Perkins of UK Sports Video, was produced in an ESPN-style format that matched the entertainment for the evening.

The visuals were shot on HD (High Definition) by Post Time Productions for Cornett Advertising. Footage included scenes at historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.

hisDynamix Productions recently finished an interactive CD-ROM project for a scientific study. We recorded all the voice prompts that take the participant through the survey via touch-screen. All pieces of audio were separated into individual files (over 425 of them!) for coding into the software. This is just another service we perform that you may not be aware of. Understanding the logistics of media coding, compression and delivery is important for successful interactive media projects.

WYWO, which plays on The Learning Channel (TLC), was in Lexington recently videotaping a future episode. Show host Evan Farmer was remotely directed via phone patch from New York. Watch for the episode featuring a Hilton Head, SC Star Trek fan who has his bar transformed into a haven any Trekkie would enjoy.
