Nick Denney, a local independent filmmaker, recently won second place at Regent University's Reel Dreams film festival and a $21,000 scholarship towards Regent's film school. His film, "The Guardian," is a 5-minute drama produced here in central Kentucky. Dynamix Productions provided the soundtrack, which included flash dream sequences. The film, currently undergoing remixes for a longer version, will be entered into various film festivals around the country in the coming months, so stay tuned for more announcements. Hats off to a great start in what will certainly be a promising career in film, Nick!
