Coach Cal Records His New Book at Dynamix

University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball Head Coach, John Calipari recently recorded the audio book version of his new book: “Bounce Back: Overcoming Setbacks to Succeed in Business and in Life” in the studios of Dynamix Productions. Recorded over a two-day period last week, this recording will be available when his book is released on August 31. Travis Tonn of Simon & Schuster Audio in New York produced and directed.

“Bounce Back,” written by John Calipari and David Scott, gives guidance to individuals that suffer setbacks in business and life. The book chronicles Coach Calipari’s own very public setbacks, like his firing as the New Jersey Nets coach, or the Memphis Tiger’s loss in the final minutes of the 2008 NCAA Basketball Championship game. Calipari offers insights on how he “bounced back.”

Coach Cal, as he is affectionately known by basketball fans, is the hottest news in college basketball right now. Having signed a multi-year contract with the UK Wildcats, he is the highest-paid college basketball coach up to this time. He’s had a similar distinction before. When he was hired as the New Jersey Nets head basketball coach in 1996, he was the highest-paid NBA coach up to that time.
